- Parnossa Works Canada assists unemployed and under-employed Jewish individuals find employment. More than a job-matching web site, Parnossa Works also provides job seekers with coaching and counselling to increase their chances of finding work. The shul is a co-sponsor of this project

- The First Narayever Congregation organizes a Community Supported Agriculture program in partnership with Tuv Ha'Aretz and Everdale Organic Farm and Environmental Learning Centre.
