We have a long tradition of eating more than we should
We’re at an Anglo-Saxon's house and there’s never enough food
But that’s okay because we brought seven other patters
We knew you’d be inadequate we hope we didn’t shatter
Any preconceived notions of what our people should be like
We don’t all go into law, business, medicine of psych
We read from the Torah
Hold hands and dance the Horah
The prequel to the new bible
We’ve got some accidental rivals
We’ll take your dishes to toivel
If you like cutting me a Moiyel
Lets play a little dreidel
You’re famished just one more ladle
of Matzo ball soup
We’re not the tallest folk, but by G?d we’re persistent
Our cautious, Jewish mothers are certainly insistent
“Why haven’t you called me? It’s been several hours”
Mess with our kids and we’ll develop super powers
We vacation to the promise land, Eretz Florida’s our calling
We tend to be susceptible to male pattern balding
We read from the Torah
Hold hands and dance the Horah
The prequel to the new bible
We’ve got some accidental rivals
We’ll take your dishes to toivel
If you like cutting me a Moiyel
Lets play a little dreidel
You’re famished just one more ladle
of Matzo ball soup
And there’s a list of nations who’ve had us exiled
But we’re forgiving, it’s not like we’re keeping files
We’re always at war with some country or other
It’s technically rivalry, they’re our brothers
We try our best to be peaceful, but that won’t happen while holding a gun
We’ll wait and wait for the world to see that we’re all just one
We read from the Torah
Hold hands and dance the Horah
The prequel to the new bible
We’ve got some accidental rivals
We’ll take your dishes to toivel
If you like cutting me a Moiyel
Lets play a little dreidel
You’re famished just one more ladle
