Services at the Narayever

Welcome to the Narayever.

We offer traditional davening, with many traditional and new tunes, and much congregational participation. Men and women participate equally in all aspects of the service from leading services to leyning.

We daven from the Birnbaum siddur (nusach sefarad). We read the Torah on an annual cycle.

We have Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday nights at 6pm, year round. Shabbat morning services begin at 9 am, and are followed by a Kiddush luncheon. After Kiddush, the Rabbi leads a study of the weekly parsha nearly every week, or we have special guest teachers who teach on topics ranging from new Israeli poetry to methods of Torah study. On Sunday we have a morning minyan at 9 am.
